Fall-Apart Chuck Roast
This super easy, fall-apart chuck roast recipe is packed with flavor and slow-cooked to perfection. This recipe only requires 3 simple ingredients, chuck roast, salt, and pepper— that’s it!

- 3 lb chuck roast
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place the chuck roast into a dutch oven or baking dish. Season both sides of the roast generously with salt and pepper, then cover with a lid.
Bake for 3 hours, or until the meat easily pulls apart using two forks. Shred the chuck roast into pieces.
Raise the oven temperature to 425°F. Toss the shredded meat in the rendered fat until thoroughly coated. Place the roast back into the oven, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until the meat browns.
Serve right away, or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
